Meet Rev. Dr. Don and Sharon Henning, Th.D.,BCC,BCTC
The Authors and Teachers of “The Making of a Chaplain” curriculum.
Sharon went to heaven May 7, 2020
They are Pastors on staff at Dream City Church – Phoenix (formally Phoenix First Assembly of God) since 1990. Sharon is a leading authority on reaching Special People and Seniors. They bring much encouragement and wisdom to their classes along with laughter. Married for 62 years with 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grand Children and they love to teach the Word of God together.
They developed and taught the Discipleship program F.I.R.E.. Some of the pastors on staff and many leaders of Dream City Church Ministries have taken this class. In fact many churches across the USA require all who want to hold a position of leadership take this F.I.R.E. discipleship program.
They have also developed many materials for churches and are active members of National organizations being frequent speakers and teachers at conferences. In 2010 they both received their Doctor of Theology degree from Primus University of Theology.
